In May, it was revealed that three Amsterdam nightclubs will likely be handed 24-hour permits: Radion, Cruquiusgilde, and a third, unidentified venue. That third space, now known as De School, will be a new club spearheaded by the team behind Trouw – a club that shut its doors this past January.
De School is projected to hold 500 guests, and will be be situated in west Amsterdam where Each Land College once stood. Similar to Trouw, De School will also be a temporary setup, with its lifetime capped at just five years. The city’s official statement writes, “If all conditions are met, the company, which was previously responsible for Club 11 and Club Trouw, [will have] the opportunity to develop this site for a period of five years.”
