Typedrummer turns your keyboard into a drum machine

Dancing Astronaut – EDM, trap, techno, deep house, dubstep

Anybody who loves music has at least a small desire to create their own productions in some capacity. Luckily, a man by the name of Kyle Stetz has developed a web program called Typedrummer for those that have no formal musical training or are rhythmically inept.

Typedrummer allows users to simply insert a strings of letters into a box that will then generate unique drum patterns based on the letters chosen. The phrases can be as long or as short as you want, and they even don’t have to be real sentences — just any combination of letters from your keyboard.

But wait, there’s more. Stetz also added a bonus feature where you can work with pre-loaded samples from Moon Bounce’s pop single, “Fool,” that contains synths, vocal chops, drums, and more to be used at your disposal. Begin your future music career by heading over to the Typedrummer website.
