Australian newcomer MK Grands (real name Daniel Cartisano) is developing a reputation as a multitalented artist, often singing and songwriting his original works in addition to producing them. His latest release “Rxssia” is a moody R&B-tinged showcase; MK Grands wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered the languid final result.
Airy instrumentals, expansive synths, and a soulful vocal topline build a gorgeous laid-back soundscape. The combination of dreamy and dark plants the track at an interesting intersection between downtempo R&B and experimental electronic.
