Last night on BBC Radio 1, ZHU brought a daunting amount of new music to Pete Tong’s Essential Selection. Opening with an emphatic statement in the form of a brand new ID, the producer continued with a VIP version of “Superfriends.” Receiving a few nods from Pete Tong along the way, the latest afterhours mix quickly moves into a new mix of T-Pain’s “Bartender” and ZHU’s own remix of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Closing with yet another unidentified track, the eclectic producer’s latest contribution to electronic music’s pedigree is a perfect preview for his upcoming dates in Ibiza, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Toulouse, Brussels, and Toronto this summer.
