Disney and Deadmau5 Have Resolved Their Trademark Dispute

After 9 months of high tension between Disney and Deadmau5, the major corporation and electronic music legend are finally on good(ish) terms. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joel Zimmerman and Disney have settled their conflict over the use of deadmau5’s trademark mouse head, which Disney claimed too closely resembled Mickey Mouse’s iconic silhouette. Deadmau5 tried to trademark his logo in the US this past year, and had already trademarked it in over 30 countries.
